Village Grill rig on Commercial boulevard offers seating outside next to sidewalk but you are elevated so you get a great spot for people watching. Restaurant is also very close to beach so you get a wonderful sea breeze.Food is excellent! The salads the steaks , the fish, the Phillie sandwich. All cooked to perfection. I had my favorite, the Mahi mahi grilled sandwich. Tender delicious generous fish portion grilled the way it should be...toasty dark on top. Yummy. Highly recommend this restaurant. Michael, our favourite waiter makes you feel like he does care you have the very best dining experience in a casual setting.

Great food, customer service and environment.

My wife and I enjoyed our quiet dinner out on the patio with a view of the plaza and the ocean in the background. The server engaged us in a stimulating conversation which added to the great time. The oysters Rockefeller were tops but were then surpassed by the fresh caught blackened Mahi. We will plan to be back on our next visit to the Lauderdale area.

This place is my favorite place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a good meal, this restaurant comes straight to my head. very good and all kinds of food and a large menu.professional crew, and good ambience. Not less important, the pay is good. I recommend this spot with great pleasure.

We went for breakfast and ordered the breakfast special. My husband ordered eggs over easy. The eggs came out uncooked, after telling our waitress she took the plate, no apologies, no discount and was extremely rude. Very poor service we will not return.

On vacation and my friends took me here for my birthday which was on Valentines day. Understandable it was a 40 min wait. Had a table on the patio and Mike our server took our orders. I ordered the Quinoa Salmon salad as I love salmon and never tried fried goat cheese. Our food arrived and I realized there was no goat cheese in it. I was really hungry and waited long for my food and would ask Mike when he came back. When he did he said the kitchen ran out of goat cheese after he placed the order. I pointed out to him that he did not mention this whe he brought the dish to me and had I known I would have ordered the salad they had on special. He offered no explanation as to why he neglected to mention this and told me to come back another day. The salad was still very good however if you are out of something on the menus then it is imperative you inform the patron and give them the option to make another choice. This was unfortunate and kinda ruined it for my bday.

Every meal was spot on and superb. This was one of my best dining experiences to date. I strongly advise anyone to stop in and get a bite of your in the area. We has the pot roast, mahi, BBQ bacon burger, and the diamond steak. Every plate was finished.

Our food was good and reasonable priced, they have an awesome 1/2 of bottle of wine special that we definitely took advantage of. Our server was friendly and attentive

Cool weather right now in February. So it’s refreshing to dine outside. It’s near the pier on Commercial so live music soothed and tourists lounged in colorful chairs adjacent to the Village Grille. The absolute tastiest clam chowder and freshest tuna sandwich for the half sandwich and cup of soup. We had ice water and the bill was reasonable and the server debonair.It’s a great place in the day if you want the sun to help relax you if you dine outside. The suns rays were on my neck and it literally had a tranquil effect. You may also enjoy inside. Either way it’s perfect. 🌟👍💁

A convenient location by the beach. Breakfast served untill noon, after that they switch over to their lunch menu. We had breakfast. Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast special. Prices are reasonable, food selection and quality is as expected as far as breakfasts go. Eggs are eggs, toast is toast, the home fries were good. Service however was disappointing. At 11:55 i asked for a side of toast, only to be told that, because they started clearing everything to get ready for lunch that request could not be met. Now if the waitress had come around at some point between the time we started eating until the time we finished, i would've asked for my toast earlier. So here's the thing; its bread right? How much time would it take to throw 2 slices into a toaster? Needless to say my tipping generosity ended at 11:56.

Host and Waitress friendly atmosphere is nice the only issue is that the service was extremely slow about almost like I was being ignored by the time the food came other people ahead of us we’re already served and gone.. by the time the food came my order was completely miss read All I ask for is a simple hamburger with wheat toast and bacon But it came totally the opposite . By the time they reverse everything 15 minutes have passed And my burger was cold ... I try to make the best of it so I asked for some mayonnaise you think they can get that right but they brought cream cheese instead then I asked for mayonnaise and it took another 15 minutes to get that as well... The experience was completely overwhelming to say the least...

Great service and food. The pancakes, eggs, toast and home fries are so yummy. Tastes like a great home cooked meal. The staff was super friendly.

I ordered fish & chips this is not fish & chips. The chips was chips but as you see the fish was just a piece of fish with a very light coat of flour with no seasoning. The cola slaw that comes with it could use some more seasoning but was okay. Now my wife had ordered an open face burger medium/ raw. First burger. WELL done. So they took the whole plate back. Second time was half was have medium. For the prices you pay. The food is not worth it. Stay way of you can. The staff. We were told our waiter had a party of 5 inside, but we did not know he was going to leave us alone the whole time and not even bring us the bill or ask if we want boxes. We sat for 30 min and no one came to our table. Don’t go.

Wow! Great place. Server was Awesome! I got the stuffed tomato with chicken salad my husband had the lemon vegetable salad. FANTASTIC I we ever go back we would definitely eat there again.

Always a pleasure short wait time. Breakfast is more than enough depending what you order. Plenty of choices. Serves alcohol on Sunday mornings for a nice mimosa or bloody mary cocktail. Always friendly stuff.

We had a really nice Saturday night out at this Lauderdale -By-The-Sea mainstay establishment. We enjoyed the specials of the night, which were prepared very well. The prime rib was great and the Chilean Sea Bass was fresh and prepared perfectly. We had outside seats, so we enjoyed the outdoor ambiance of a Saturday night at Lauderdale by the Sea.The service was friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.

What an outstanding meal! It's exactly what I wanted (The Black Diamond Steak).Courtney was my friendly, waitress and I really enjoyed meeting her and enjoying my meal there!!!I highly recommend Village Grille, I'll have to return sometime to try out more of their menu!
